Wagner Parsifal
Is it me, or is Parsifal out of character with the rest of the operas of Wagner?
If I'm right, what is the reason for this?
No more, so I think that saying "Die Meistersinger" is. It was certainly anti-Semitic in its early years, but honestly I think there was a real change of heart as he grew older, to exemplify, chose a Jewish director, which opens "Parsifal" and for his last years had a Jewish domestic / server, that absolutely adored him. I hope my attempts at clarification, have at least helped a little in getting a better management of this most enigmatic and certainly the most controversial figure in the history of classical music do not feel alone in seeking to understand him and his works – I think it is possible that someone ever say, "Aha!"
