Breaking a leg still "good luck" in Hollywood?
The short film "Paging David Cronenberg" stars Veronica Gray and Paul Bubb. It is 7:23 minutes long, in honor of one of the birthday of his hero – Martin Gore of Depeche Mode, who was born on 23 July or 7 / 23.
The project grew out of several ideas, linked to, "Martin Scorsese's The Departed" and Peter Jackson The Lord of the Rings. "
Veronica, who has been paying his dues as an actress in Hollywood since his teens in 1996, was in 2006 as a mentor to a young man named Marc and Elaine Zicree.
In September 2006, suggested that Veronica Zicrees follow the example set by Elijah Wood, star of the megablockbuster trilogy "The Lord of the Rings."
The Zicrees Veronica said that when Elijah heard that Peter Jackson was filming "The Lord of the Rings," Elijah (who was relatively unknown in the time) got his friend Sean Astin (presumably just the child actor) and shot a short film of one of the scenes from the works of JRR Tolkien.
They have the short film with Mr. Jackson.
Long story short, Mr. Jackson, who had initially proposed only cast actors based in the UK, was so impressed with the efforts he flew to Los Angeles to meet Elijah and Sean, and the rest is film history.
This history is legendary among aspiring actor in Hollywood, acting as teachers tell this inspiring story of their classes to encourage their students.
Apparently, Vera Farmiga did the same thing as Elijah Wood and this is how she has her part in "The Departed" by Martin Scorsese.
Nobody has ever wondered how a stranger comes to making love scenes in front of the Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon?
So Veronica Zicrees encouraged to pick their favorite director, and get something to him, rather than continue "throwing a lot of work does not stick out waiting for something random."
Well, that was obvious.
Easy.
David Cronenberg. He was born on 3 / 15, and Veronica, 3 / 14.
Plus some of his top favorite movies of all time were directed by him:
"eXistenZ", "Scanners" and "Naked Lunch" to name a few.
And she had had the opportunity to meet him in person twice now.
The first time was in September 2005, at the Getty Center, where Cronenberg hosted a projection of "Fellini's La Dolce Vita" at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles.

Veronica was extra excited because Muse Productions is literally steps from your own home in Venice, California.
And so, a Short was born in October 2006, only a month after the Zicrees suggested. They took some pages of "London Fields", and added a tribute some that only Mr. Cronenberg, or its fans, who "receive".
It was never filmed for commercial purposes any. Just a labor of love for Mr. Cronenberg arrive at the same time to the divine will to take its course.
Co-stars in the film include Paul and Chris DeWolf Bubba. Edited by Roberto Jimenez produced by Michael L. Lynch.
On the day of filming which started at 5 am, was so dark, that Veronica could not see the first step and twisted his ankle wrong.
He was deemed a good omen for "break a leg."
So if you watch the movie, tells of his limp if you look closely.
Music: Brian Hyland, Billy Corgan, and Madonna are in the picture.
Meanwhile, according to IMDB, "London Fields" is no longer on the plate Mr. Cronenberg, as is the nature of the industry, however, "Paging David Cronenberg" actually premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2008 and has interesting struck Veronica Gray.
In 2007 # 1 album "Zeitgeist" by Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan references in this short film in the song "Neverlost" when he sings, "I saw the movie. I know the place." Venice, California becomes the place. Not quite Hollywood, but still a good place to break a leg!
