My husband is a Rat Pack, how do I get rid of the trash your angry with him?
Recently married and moved to the house of my husband. The problem it's so much (what I call) GARBAGE! We rented a roll-off and filled with MAX, but there are a lot of unnecessary items (furniture, ie, clothes, VHS tapes, large screen TV that hasn't worked in 3 years) that he doesn't want to get rid of it. It would help if there is space, but theres no I do not know what to do.
Start small. Take him to compromise and give up some easy elements. You'll notice after a month or so to do so was not so bad (no lost items). Then try to take him to relinquish some elements a couple of months later, and so on. Also, you can show how much money you save by not keep all this stuff, and how they could apply this money for something that both want (like a new TV, perhaps).
