Me and my partner are getting a husky puppy and labrador puppy (same age) will they be ok together?

They are both girls, we are getting them on the same day. I have kept Labradors all my life so i am fine with them, but I’ve never had a husky before. I’ve read that they are very loving, intelligent dogs but will Darla (husky) get on ok with Honey (Labrador)?

Having 2 dogs can work very well for all concerned,but it will also have drawbacks if you do not take care to make sure that they do not bond closer to each other than to you,or maybe end up with problems in training them and their learning undesirable traits from each other.
Some dogs bond so closely that owner is left out of the equation.To avoid this happening,you will need to separate the dogs if they are left alone for any length of time,either during the day while you are at work,or at night.
Do this by means of a mesh partition or a stair gate so they can still keep each other company,but can’t play together unless you are there to supervise it.So that the dogs won’t feel entirely ‘abandoned’ during the day,give them something to occupy their time alone such as activity toys,or have someone come in to give them attention,to take them for a walk,and just to let them outside to relieve themelseves.
It is also a good idea regularly to take each dog out separately,so that you can devote your attention to each one singly.
The other dog will learn to be confident when out alone,and not to rely on the other dog for support.

As for both dog will it be ok??

Labradors, you have already know what is her nature it was really the most friendly dog i meet.
And they have no problem with other dog at all.

As for Husky,they are very active,eager,alert,outgoing,independent.
Husky will maybe problematic with small pets,and may chase, friendly if socialized them well with other dog & people.
They may display control problem on walks-may run off and not return, (this was told by my friend, he have 5 of them , but 3 run away when the gate open, and never return, it was because they really love the nature call..It was really true., they are born to like that kind of feedom, like in the forest wild dog..)
It was really sad when my buddy call me up,and say his dog run away, he really love them very much, as his dog is all with very good Pedigree.and really very beautyful & very healthy..

Husky really need alot of daily grooming, due to they have the tick coat. keep this in mind when they are shading time, your house really will have the hair all flying around the whole house, if you have sensetive nose, you better consider it.
