Why do people think black culture is just rap music?
There are other things besides rap. There is jazz, techno, disco, hip-hop, Motown, R & B, reggae and soul and other things. There breakdance, Lindy hop, jive, swing, Cakewalk, popping, locking, etc. Then there are the contributions and inventions we've done. Then there is the food and BLACK ART, sculpture, literature and cultures of the Caribbean, and Africa itself. point is, why do people still insist on that the only representative PAR BLACK CULTURE? There is more to us than rap!
